Care:

Wash when soiled. Cool-warm water and dash of any PH neutral soap ie: Woolite, Free and Clear etc. Dry in shade. Do Not Dry-clean.

These pieces go thru many steps of washing so they are not as fragile as you may imagine. Natural dyes can be PH sensitive and none of them want to be left hanging in the sun. If you are reasonably gentle with them they will last many, many years.

Many pieces are intentionally left unhemmed to retain the free floating feel of fine natural fabrics. If the fabric frays a strand or two, gently pull strand out or trim with scissors.

2023 Show Schedule:

I will be at most of the Santa Fe Artist Markets from March 4 – End December.

The Saturday Market is in the rail-yard district, next to Farmers Market, across from REI.

The Studio

Where hard work, love of nature, and joy come together

Where hard work and joy come together.

This 400sq ft studio in my converted garage is a dream come true. Along the back wall is the leaf library. Dye pots and supplies in the right corner, fabrics on left. The large work table in the center is where I lay out my fabric and leaves before rolling into a bundle to steam.

Below: 1.Tools and treasures. 2.Sink and stove (with big, black steamer). 3.Tiny treasures on tiny shelf. 4.Inside steam pot. 5.Leaf library.
